DiveHQ is a logbook, a dive planner and a back office. Divers keep every dive and plan the next one. Shops, clubs and instructors run their day here, and divers find them.

For divers. Log by hand or import from your dive computer, then keep your certifications, gear service dates and your own air consumption in one record that follows you from shop to shop.

For technical divers. Plan open-circuit trimix and rebreather dives with ZHL-16C gradient factors or VPM-B, with bailout, gas volumes, CNS and OTU, END and density warnings, and wetnotes you can print.

For shops and clubs. Boat trips, bookings, waivers, medical forms, cert checks, courses, rentals, fill logs, retail and memberships across every location, with a booking page under your own name.

On the boat. The phone and tablet apps work offline. Log dives, plan, check divers in and sign waivers with no signal, and it all syncs when you are back at the dock.

Questions divers ask

A diver looks out through a window frame inside the wreck of the Chester A. Congdon
Does DiveHQ replace my dive computer?

No. Your computer tracks the dive you are actually doing. DiveHQ keeps the record afterwards and helps you plan before you get wet. The planners show their working so you can check them against your computer and your training.

Which dive computers can I import from?

Anything that exports UDDF or Subsurface XML, plus Shearwater Cloud, Garmin FIT, Suunto, MacDive, Diving Log and DAN DL7 files. The phone app downloads over Bluetooth from Shearwater, Suunto, Garmin, Mares and other common models.

How is the technical planner checked?

Every release runs a reference suite of published Bühlmann ZHL-16C and VPM-B profiles, plus checks that more conservative settings never shorten decompression. Each saved plan records the engine version and inputs so it can be reproduced exactly.

Does it work without signal on the boat?

Yes. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps keep your logbook, planners and tables on the device. Shop tablets keep the day’s manifests, waivers and rentals. Everything syncs when you are back in range.

Can my shop take payments through it?

Yes. Connect your own Stripe account and divers pay you directly for trips, courses and rentals. If you would rather take payment at the counter, mark bookings as paid instead. Each shop chooses.

Can I take my data with me?

Export your whole logbook as UDDF or JSON at any time, including profiles, gas and signatures. Deleting your account removes your data after 30 days.

Which training agencies are supported?

Certifications from PADI, SSI, NAUI, SDI/TDI, GUE, IANTD, RAID, BSAC, CMAS, UTD and others. Shops and instructors can mark a card as verified, which other shops can see when you book.

Who can see my medical questionnaire?

Only staff at a shop you book with, and only the roles that need it. The form is encrypted, every view is recorded, and you can withdraw a shop’s access at any time.
